The Sophie embroidered basque is designed as the most sculptural piece of the collection – a longline silhouette that traces the body from the cups to the hips while remaining remarkably light. Sheer French floral embroidery runs down the center front in one continuous panel, set against airy Italian tulle with champagne silk charmeuse shaping the waist. Satin bows sit between the cups, at the waist, and along the hem, with pendant details catching the light at the center. Four garter straps fall from the scalloped edge – made for stockings, and just as striking without them. A ladder of adjustable straps runs down the open back between embroidered panels, keeping the fit secure without interrupting the delicacy of the silhouette.
